Diane says: "This Spanish pic (Nacho Vigalondo, director), still rumored to be up for a remake by David Cronenberg, is a low-budget horror/time-travel puzzle. Set-up got my interest, midpoint I was thinking, "This is a pretty silly movie," but last quarter engaged me again. Main actor a nice choice: a regular middle-aged guy calmly trying to sort out more than one reality against the clock. Was concurring with reviews that disparage Vigalondo's acting (playing a researcher in a time-travel laboratory--the number two spot out of just four actors), but now thinking maybe he was playing a character who was a bad actor.... 3 cats.
