Carolyn says: "A very well done documentary about children brought up in the born-again tradition. The framing of the film was a big discussion topic afterwards. I especially liked the question at the end of the introductory scene. OK I can't remember it but it was essentially about the link between religion and politics. Anyway, it seems a fair portrayal from both sides of the issue. This is a major difference from *ahem* Michael Moore docs; it's also an issue that liberals may not be aware of. Like Michael Moore documentaries, it enrages/terrifies the liberal audience, the question remains: will we do anything about it this time?? 4.5 cats"

Beth Caldwell says: "This is a must-see for behavioral scientists as well as all other
enthusiastic observers of human behavior. I was lucky enough to be a part of the post- Sunday Eye Opener discussion at the Brattle, when viewers made their VERY PASSIONATE views on the subject matter known - which indicated to me just how stimulating this topic is for viewers. This documentary depicts some extremely heavy indoctrination for young children growing up in pentacostal families. It is a film which
inspires some serious thought and many believe that it is a wake-up call for those of us who believe children should be raised to think creatively but more importantly learn how to think for themselves. I found myself feeling uncomfortably disturbed at many points during the film, which I believe is a testament to the film's success in thoroughly documenting the experiences of those kids attending the camp. 4.5 cats"
