One of the best chances Chlotrudis members get to see the latest
independent films is at Film Festivals. There are hundreds of Film
Festivals all across the globe each year, and Chlotrudis members do
their best to catch a few, not only in the Boston area,
internationally. This section will also feature Film Festival reports
from Chlotrudis Awards members. The Toronto International Film Festival
gets a lot of attention from our members because it's such an
accessible festival for the public. In addition to the many terrific
Film Festivals that take place in the Boston area, Chlotrudis Awards
will be tapping their members across the country to share the
excitement of the Film Festivals in their stomping grounds. rough cut Capote • Poet & the City: Charles Olson and the

• From time to time the Chlotrudis Society is
contacted by filmmakers who ask us to review their work before it has
distribution. Sometimes these are films by emerging filmmakers who are
just getting started. Other times these are films that are in a rough
cut stage, not yet ready for release. Filmmakers like to have audiences
preview these films in the early stages so they can tweak them before
release. The "rough cut" section of the webpage will feature reviews of
such films from Chlotrudis members who have taken part is such a review
process. |
